Our Mission Statement

The USS Liberty Veterans Association exists to honor the 34 American servicemen killed during the June 8th 1967, attack on the USS Liberty and to stand with the surviving crew, while preserving the full, factual historical record of that event.

We are committed to preserving firsthand testimony, historical evidence, and the lived experiences of the crew; educating the American public and future generations; and demanding accountability through transparency, lawful inquiry, and historical integrity.

We stand for the men who were silenced, for the families who were never given answers, and for the principle that no nation, no alliance, and no political convenience outweighs the truth or the lives of American servicemen.

Our mission is remembrance, truth, and accountabilityβ€”so that what happened to the USS Liberty never happens again.
